Zion
River Resort RV Park & Campground is a well designed and
highly developed luxury RV Park just a short distance (12 miles)
from Zion National Park. Zion River Resort offers a variety of
sites (approximately 130) ranging from small to modest, to long
pull-thrus. There are also tent sites, camper cabins, and Tee-Pees.
The campground has a reasonable amount of landscaping and nicely
maintained sites. There are full hook-ups, including telephone
at each RV site. The swimming pool was a bit on the chilly side,
but the spa was perfect. The views from the campground are excellent.
Each
site has a picnic table and fire grill. There is a nice grassy
strip between each site. The Virgin River flows along one edge
of the property and smaller units can camp alongside the river.
Everything is well designed and maintained, but a bit pricey.
The park is not affiliated with any camping organization and
pull-through rates vary from $31.00 per day, $186.00 per week,
and $660.00 per month (our cost was $186.00). There is a recreation
hall with big screen television, video arcade, and pool table.
The laundry is clean but a bit higher cost then others we have
experienced ($1.75 per load to wash or dry).
If cost is not a significant factor and you are looking for
a great, clean, RV resort near Zion National Park, Zion River
Resort RV Park & Campground will meet SavvyCamper needs and
expectations.
